toc | previous | next

  1. [*** Look at the camera for severeal seconds in silence before you begin. ***]
  2. Hello,
  3. My name is ___(your full name)___.
  4. Today I’m going to be talking about something called T3love.
  5. T3love is an abbreviation for Thumos Love, which names the first falsifiable definition of love.
  6. The first falsifiable definition of love, or simply, Thumos Love, is spelled out in Chapter Six of the 2017 book Thumos: Adulthood, Love & Collaboration.
  7. For the first time ever, love is defined with falsifiability so well that all people can be on the same page as to what the result of loving someone should be.
  8. Only with an objective way to see whether or not love was discharged can both the originator and the target of love have their claims of love tested against reality.
  9. Did you love him?
  10. Did she love you?
  11. Are you loving me?
  12. Am I loving you?
  13. These questions could now be answered using not feelings but science and data.
  14. The importance of the first falsifiable definition of love could never be overemphasized.
  15. It is hereby underlined by the label “Thumos Love”.
  16. Thumos Love is how you can love in the strongest possible way.

3 Introducing Thumoslang Law of Love

toc | previous | next

  1. In this episode, we’re going to add to the mix 8 laws of love.
  2. These laws are universal principles that describe the fundamental nature of love.
  3. Together these 8 laws are called the Thumoslang Law of Love.
  4. To discharge the power of Thumos Love, you have to use its special language.
  5. The language of Thumos Love is called Thumoslang.
  6. Thumoslang is the nomenclature for social clarity.
  7. As documented by The Dictionary of Thumoslang, this nomenclature has over 800 terms.
  8. Let’s go over each of these 8 laws of love using Thumoslang, the nomenclature for social clarity.

4 First Law – Never Required to Love

toc | previous | next

  1. Here is the first law of love in Thumoslang:
  2. “You are never required to love anyone.”
  3. This is shocking, isn’t it?
  4. Check this out.
  5. A baby cannot love anyone.
  6. The baby cannot be in the wrong for not being able to love anyone.
  7. We tell ourselves that our babies love us but what do they know, right?
  8. Babies are never required to love anyone.
  9. “You are never required to love anyone.”
  10. That’s the First Thumoslang Law of Love.
  11. What do you think of that?
  12. “You are never required to love anyone.”

5 Second Law – Never Required to Love Back

toc | previous | next

  1. Here is the second law of love in Thumoslang:
  2. “Your target of love is never required to love you back.”
  3. WTF?
  4. Why the hell not?
  5. When you have the feeling of loving someone, you are not loving that person.
  6. To love is not to feel being loved but to make the other person have that feeling.
  7. Unfortunately, it’s a one-way street.
  8. Loving a person does not guarantee that the person will love you back at all.
  9. We love our babies but they don’t love us back.
  10. They are too young to know how.
  11. We want to believe that they do but they don’t, trust me.
  12. “Your target of love is never required to love you back.”
  13. That’s the Second Thumoslang Law of Love.
  14. What do you think of that?
  15. “Your target of love is never required to love you back.”

6 Third Law – Loving Words Are Not Love

toc | previous | next

  1. Here is the third law of love in Thumoslang:
  2. “Loving words are not love.”
  3. The declaration of love is itself not an action of love.
  4. Why not?
  5. Because the result of the declaration of love does not always imply that of the action of love.
  6. Check this out; don’t try this at home; do it outside.
  7. Walk around your neighborhood.
  8. When you see a random person walking towards you on the street, ask the following questions.
  9. Do you love humanity?
  10. Do you love human beings?
  11. The answer is almost always a big YES.
  12. That was true long before you met that person.
  13. However, you would never tell yourself that you felt loved by that person, whom you never met or knew anything about.
  14. You may claim that you love everyone in your town.
  15. However, such a claim does not make everyone in your town feel loved by you.
  16. That’s because “loving words are not love.”
  17. Consider this as the Third Thumoslang Law of Love.
  18. “Loving words are not love.”
  19. What do you think of that?
  20. “Loving words are not love.”

7 Fourth Law – Love Impossible Without Personal Ideals

toc | previous | next

  1. For those who did not know, Thumoslang is a collection of many Thumoslang thumbnail definitions.
  2. Thumoslang is short for Thumos language.
  3. Thumoslang is the language for Thumos Love.
  4. All Thumoslang thumbnail definitions are presented in The Dictionary of Thumoslang, which is entirely available at thumoslang.wordpress.com.
  5. The first definition has a special name.
  6. It is referred to as the First Thumos Mantra.
  7. The first Thumos mantra has only five words.
  8. It is: “Respect; that means, no interfering.”
  9. To be sure.
  10. Interfering; that means, preventing completion.
  11. When you interact with me, the concept respect is not at play until one of us prevent the other from completing a task.
  12. If you want others to love you, the first step is to show them how to respect you.
  13. If you want others to respect you, show them how to avoid interfering with your life.
  14. If you want others to avoid interfering with your life, make them understand your ideals.
  15. If you are not loved, it is highly likely that you failed to express your ideals such that others could easily understand how to respect, how to avoid interfering with them.
  16. “If you cannot express your ideals, others cannot love you.”
  17. That’s the Fourth Thumoslang Law of Love.
  18. “If you cannot express your ideals, others cannot love you.”
  19. What do you think of the fourth law of love?
  20. “If you cannot express your ideals, others cannot love you.”

  10. Do you want to graduate from high school or college? In that case, graduation would be an ideal of yours.
  11. Do you want to become a parent? In that case, the birth of your first child would be an ideal of yours.
  12. You achieve another ideal of yours when you own your first car, your first home, or when you first have a spouse.
  13. Your ideals are all the most-meaningful milestones in your life.
  14. It is impossible to overemphasize the importance of your ideals.
  15. “Your ideals are the same as your ideal self, which means, what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
  16. That’s the Fifth Thumoslang Law of Love.
  17. “Your ideals are the same as your ideal self, which means, what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
  18. What do you think of the fifth law of love?
  19. “Your ideals are the same as your ideal self, which means, what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

  4. Your ideals are not just one or another milestone in life.
  5. Your ideals are all the most-meaningful milestones in your life.
  6. If I want to love you in the strongest possible way, I have to discharge the power of love using Thumos Love, that is, using the first falsifiable definition of love.
  7. Thumos Love means nurturing at once all of your ideals.
  8. As you grow, your ideals evolve and change.
  9. The nurturing of your ideals has to evolve accordingly.
  10. To love you is to help you create your ideal self.
  11. To love you is to nurture your ideals.
  12. “Loving means the nurturing of personal ideals.”
  13. That’s the Sixth Thumoslang Law of Love.
  14. “Loving means the nurturing of personal ideals.”
  15. What do you think of that?
  16. “Loving means the nurturing of personal ideals.”

10 Seventh Law – Energy Required for Love

toc | previous | next

  1. Is it possible for you to love me in person? The answer is YES.
  2. Is it possible for you to love me from the other side of our planet? The answer should also be YES, right?
  3. In that case, is it possible for you to love me and everyone else all over the world?
  4. According to Chapter Six in the 2017 hardcover book Thumos: Adulthood, Love & Collaboration, the answer is YES, given that you have enough energy to discharge all four elements of love for each and every member of our humanity.
  5. Without the use of energy, people can claim that they love many others but none can prove such a claim against reality.
  6. With the use of energy, we can verify whether the action of love was carried out.
  7. We don’t need to spend time in this episode to academically prove all of the above.
  8. Philosophers and other highly educated people can do the heavy lifting of working out the proof.
  9. All of us can see, for example, that our parents cannot give us love without using a lot of energy.
  10. “The use of energy is required for every action of love.”
  11. That’s the Seventh Thumoslang Law of Love.
  12. “The use of energy is required for every action of love.”
  13. What do you think of that?
  14. “The use of energy is required for every action of love.”

toc | previous | next

  1. Is it possible for parents to use a lot of energy for love and still have their children not feel loved?
  2. Unfortunately, for many of us, the answer is a horrible YES.
  3. It is not enough to use energy for love.
  4. There must be an objective way to measure the result of love.
  5. This is why the eighth law of love in Thumoslang is important.
  6. Check this out.
  7. “For the target of love, the result of love is freedom from the originator of love.”
  8. That’s the Eighth Thumoslang Law of Love.
  9. If you love me, Thumos Love asks you to avoid interfering with my ideals, rejecting my ideals, and opposing my ideals.
  10. That is how you can love me in the strongest possible way. If that is love from you, I feel absolutely free from you; that’s Thumos Love.
  11. “For the target of love, the result of love is freedom from the originator of love.”
  12. What do you think of that?
  13. “For the target of love, the result of love is freedom from the originator of love.”
