The above cover photo is of someone who came from a faraway place and lived in Providence, Rhode Island, for a while. He, John Ramos of Rhode Island, and their peers elsewhere at the time were all still in the experimental stage of their life. As Ramos put it, in the video [John Ramos — Something Bigger | NDBaker93 | S19E02](v=9UOH0PFfYps), they wanted to become “something bigger.”

This online booklet, Building Wealth from Empty Hands, attempts to address the following question. Is there not a systematic ladder for everyone to climb and always reach higher and higher in life? More specifically, it takes you as a person from anywhere through a course of work to build wealth systematically for yourself and other members of your friend group.

You may not know anything ahead of time about Thumoslang, the formal vocabulary for optimizing life through social clarity based on falsifiable truth. This document will tell you about it later. You must not have any special knowledge or skill at the time you start your local group. You must not be at a certain age or status to begin. You must not pay anyone or invest any money. The only requirements are easy to understand. You want to start a local friend group to build wealth from empty hands for its members, including yourself. With help from this text, you can do it.

2 | Research Trails & Guided Tours

toc | previous | next

Here, at the Thumoslang website, a booklet is a single web page presenting a sequence of chapters. An online book is a sequence of web pages, many of which are booklets. A booklet may present either one of the Thumoslang Research Trails or Guided Tours for Thumoslang Learners.

A research trail is a booklet taking the reader through a course of work. Thumoslang Okapi Trail, for example, walks you through an onboarding process and shows you how to participate in the Thumoslang PVD Group (T3PVD).

In contrast, a guided tour is a booklet helping readers understand a specific concept by visiting various places online. Guided Thumoslang Tour to Success, for example, shows you various places to understand in-depth the concept of success.

In summary, to tackle a concept considered by Thumoslang, take a guided tour. To do the hard work necessary for success in life, walk along a research trail.

4 | Learn by Example

toc | previous | next

Nickantony Quach, Alec Mustafayev, born in 2002, and their associates are a small friend group in Providence (PVD), the largest city in the smallest of the United States. As of this writing, they are, of course, trying to build wealth from empty hands for themselves. You can learn by watching them; it costs less to learn by example than to learn by trial and error.

The members call themselves the Thumoslang PVD Group (T3PVD). Their official language is Thumoslang, the formal vocabulary for optimizing life through social clarity based on falsifiable truth. In a formal argument, T3PVD members speak Thumoslang. Thumoslang’s immense power rests with its thumbnail definitions. The vocabulary comprises hundreds of them; for example, here are three.

  • Journey; that means, self-discovery.
  • Success; that means, peer recognition.
  • Wealth; that means, passive income.

Thumoslang gives you the power to change another person’s worldview only in a few sentences, according to Changing Life in 20 Sentences, the second reading episode in the Kindle Vella series Personal Startup Using Thumoslang. When Charbel Hachem heard of the above three sentences, he changed his life. He recounted this experience in the video [The First Step | Grow Up With AOC | S1E4](v=5LJ0H7vgzXA).

INSTRUCTION: Watch the video and learn from him directly.

5 | Learn by Direct Experience

toc | previous | next

If you want to build wealth, you must have a team. Suppose you want another person to join your group. In that case, you must be able to change that person’s worldview before that person loses interest in hearing you out. This chapter shows you how.

From our earlier experiences, it’s not possible to share the knowledge of Thumoslang with a stranger by mentioning the word Thumoslang and providing a lecture of any length on the subject. “While using Thumoslang, avoid mentioning its name,” advised Preparing for Separation, the seventh reading episode of the Kindle Vella series Parenting Made Perfect.

“Unfortunately, despite how Thumoslang can simplify and benefit people’s lives, it is challenging to explain what it is and how it works to others, mainly because it is, most likely, the first of its kind; a scientific and empirical system for social life.” This passage appears in Your Superpower, the first reading episode of the Kindle Vella series Practical Guide to Thumoslang. “When people first try to introduce Thumoslang, their friends often ask if it is a cult or religion. Additionally, friends trying to understand Thumoslang may not see why a thumbnail definition their friend tells them about is valuable or any more important than the definition they would find in a dictionary. Therefore, the topic of Thumoslang must be introduced with the proper context, such as a practical way to solve a problem or make the average person understand how the formal vocabulary can benefit their lives.”

INSTRUCTION 5A: Read An Important Walk, the first episode of the Kindle Vella series Thumoslang Stories. You will see how Nickantony Quach discharged the power of Thumoslang and changed a new friend’s worldview only in a dozen sentences.

INSTRUCTION 5B: Also read Changing Life in 20 Sentences, the second episode in the Kindle Vella series Personal Startup Using Thumoslang, and learn more about how to discharge the power of Thumoslang and change another person’s worldview only in a dozen sentences, but several times during an extended conversation.

Consider the following three Thumoslang thumbnail definitions:

  • Journey; that means, self-discovery.
  • Success; that means, peer recognition.
  • Wealth; that means, passive income.

Again, when Charbel Hachem heard of the above three sentences, he changed his life. He recounted this experience in the video [The First Step | Grow Up With AOC | S1E4](v=5LJ0H7vgzXA).

INSTRUCTION 5C: If not already done, watch the video and learn from Hachem directly.

INSTRUCTION 5D: In the next few days or weeks, look for an opportunity to change a stranger’s worldview but only in a dozen sentences.

For the last exercise, you should get to know a dozen more Thumoslang thumbnail definitions. The fastest approach is to read the first three episodes of every Kindle Vella series in the Thumoslang octalogy known as Trek Vella; click here for further information. You must not pay to view the first three episodes of any Kindle Vella series.

Learning by example is good; doing it by direct experience is even better. Whenever you see an INSTRUCTION in any chapter of this document, you should follow its direction and learn by example or direct experience. Did you follow instructions 5A through 5D above?

6 | Become a Successful Leader

toc | previous | next

Suppose you followed the instruction presented by the previous two chapters. In that case, you should be able to sail quickly through the Guided Thumoslang Tour to Success.

INSTRUCTION: To be sure, go ahead and take the Guided Thumoslang Tour to Success.

Success, however, is a consequence of the past. For the future, consider leadership.

If you want to become a leader, you need to understand the objective meaning of leadership. Furthermore, you also need to know when your leadership is effective and how to teach self-leadership. The Guided Thumoslang Tour to Leadership explains further.

INSTRUCTION: When ready, take the Guided Thumoslang Tour to Leadership.

After taking the above two tours, you could exercise your leadership and take others to success. How else would you become a successful leader?

7 | Your Mission

toc | previous | next

From the Preamble earlier, you know that this online booklet, Building Wealth from Empty Hands, attempts to address the following question. Is there not a systematic ladder for everyone to climb and always reach higher and higher in life? More specifically, it takes you as a person from anywhere through a course of work to build wealth systematically for yourself and other members of your friend group. That leads to the following mission statement.

Your mission is to build wealth systematically for yourself and other members of your friend group.

Consider the following Thumoslang thumbnail definitions:

  • Subjectivity; that means, in a person’s mind.
  • Subjective; that means, personally influenced.
  • Bias; that means, subjective influence.
  • Systematic; that means, self-serving bias eliminated.
  • Wealth; that means, passive income.
  • Mission; that means, goal-oriented operations.

How should you and your associates or I and mine create a stream of passive income for friend groups? Furthermore, how could we do it for a friend group when our existing group of friends failed to do that in the first place? The follow-on chapters will address these questions.

8 | How to Match Other’s Understanding

toc | previous | next

If you have no friends, your existing “friend group” has only you as a single member. If you have several friend groups, which is the group with the mission to build wealth systematically for its members? If the answer is none, your “existing” wealth-building friend group (WBFG) has only you as a single member. It is safe to assume that you have not had a WBFG yet.

Nickantony Quach was in such a situation. So was Alec Mustafayev; neither had a WBFG. They did not meet one another until two years ago, in late 2019.

Thumoslang brought them together and, more importantly, gave them a matching understanding. One of their first questions to one another was; what are your ideals? In other words, what is your ideal self, what do you truly want to become?

A default friend group is a group of friends formed naturally without any vision ahead of time for the group. A WBFG is a group of friends formed by design to build wealth systematically for its members.

However, the group’s focus must first and foremost be on personal ideals instead of immediate income. Because many friend groups do not focus on personal ideals, almost all naturally formed friend groups fade away as the years stack up. Focusing on personal ideals is the first step towards a matching understanding.

The third episode in the Kindle Vella series Practical Guide to Thumoslang is How to Match Understanding. It shows how to ensure matching understanding in a conversation.

INSTRUCTION 8A: Click here for the Kindle Vella series Practical Guide to Thumoslang, then read its third episode, How to Match Understanding, free of charge.

9 | Forming a Wealth-building Friend Group

toc | previous | next

You may not be in a sizable wealth-building friend group (WBFG). In that case, you may assume that you are the first member of a small WBFG. It’s a one-man show initially.

Wealth building means creating passive income and thus running a business. You should no longer view your one-man show as just an individual but also as a business unit. In Thumoslang, it’s your business of the self. To understand this concept, consider the following Thumoslang thumbnail definitions:

  • Systematic; that means, self-serving bias eliminated.
  • Business; that means, systematic selling.
  • Individuality; that means, personal distinctions.
  • Self; that means, a segment of individuality.
  • Your business of the self; that means, the five departments of your life.

INSTRUCTION 9A: Watch the video [Business of the Self | Thumoslang102 | S1E7](v=_NhPVY0Zt5Q) to learn about the five departments in your life.

INSTRUCTION 9B: Watch the video [How to Organize Your Life – Your Business of the Self | NDBaker93 Thumoslang106 | S12E13](v=Y_SxMuSg4zA). Learn how to organize your business of the self.

Even as a one-man show, you should give your local group a specific name. Here is a living example. Alec Mustafayev, a 19-year-old Providence (PVD) resident as of late 2021, is a member of the Thumoslang PVD Group (T3PVD). Its mission is to build wealth based on its members’ personal ideals. Its official language is Thumoslang.

You must not include the word Thumoslang in your group’s name. You should, in any case, keep it as your group’s official language and adopt T3PVD’s mission as that of your group. The default mission of every WBFG should be to build wealth based on its members’ personal ideals.

[START OF THE T3BKE EXAMPLE]

We are in the process of helping you form your WBFG. Let’s pretend that your name is Brandon Latham and you live in Baker City, Oregon. Its airport code is BKE. In this example, let’s use the following photo to show what Brandon looks like.

Let’s say that the name of your group is Thumoslang BKE Group (T3BKE). T3 here abbreviates Thumoslang. T3BKE’s mission is the same as T3PVD’s mission, to build wealth based on its members’ personal ideals. T3BKE, pronounced as T-3-Baker, is a WBFG with only you as a single member of the group.

For the rest of this document, we will refer to T3BKE as your WBFG for ease of discussion. Brandon Latham, your fictitious name, is the only member of the group.

[END OF THE T3BKE EXAMPLE]

You are now, by default, the leader of T3BKE, a local WBFG. Are you ready to take the lead?

In Chapter 4 – Learn by Example, we introduced you to Charbel Hachem. If you did not meet him yet, watch the video [The First Step | Grow Up With AOC | S1E4](v=5LJ0H7vgzXA).

Did you learn to discharge the power of Thumoslang and change another person’s worldview only in a dozen sentences? If not, you should study Chapter 5 – Learn by Direct Experience before you continue.

Are you ready to exercise your leadership? If you’re not sure, study Chapter 6 – Become a Successful Leader and learn how to become a leader. Click here to take the Guided Thumoslang Tour to Leadership.

10 | Meet Brandon Latham of Baker City

toc | previous | next

Halfway between the equator and the North Pole, Baker City is a small city in Northeastern Oregon. It has close to ten thousand people. One of them is Brandon Latham, born in 2003. A year younger than Alec Mustafayev, Latham is still in the experimental stage of his life. Latham has a dozen friends in several friend groups. However, most of his friends are not as interested in their future as Latham is in his.

In early 2022, Latham saw the document Building Wealth from Empty Hands. He considered it a trailhead for his journey in building wealth from empty hands. Like John Ramos of Rhode Island, Latham does, too, want to become “something bigger.”

Latham had two part-time jobs, but he decided to quit one after Latham saw the video [The First Step | Grow Up With AOC | S1E4](v=5LJ0H7vgzXA). He learned from Charbel Hachem of the following three Thumoslang thumbnail definitions and wanted to make time for building wealth.

  • Journey; that means, self-discovery.
  • Success; that means, peer recognition.
  • Wealth; that means, passive income.

To get started, he formed a one-man show and called it the Thumoslang BKE Group (T3BKE), pronounced as T-3-Baker. The group’s mission is to build wealth based on its members’ personal ideals.

11 | The First Lessons in Thumoslang

toc | previous | bottom | title

Brandon Latham formed a one-man show and call it the Thumoslang BKE Group (T3BKE). The group’s mission is to build wealth based on its members’ personal ideals.

Initially, he was not sure what Thumoslang was. What is Thumoslang? Thumoslang is the formal vocabulary for optimizing life through social clarity based on falsifiable truth. It’s the official language used by a wealth-building friend group (WBFG).

It did not take a long time for Latham to discover the Thumoslang website. As soon as he’s there, he visited the link About This Website. The web page presents a thin booklet with only four chapters. They made him realize the Importance of Thumoslang.

  1. Executive Briefing
  2. Official YouTube Channel
  3. Importance of Thumoslang
  4. As an Industry in the Future

As soon as Latham realized the Importance of Thumoslang, he wanted to study the vocabulary. The first step is to trace its origin by reading the online book Thumosdegu — The Making of Thumoslang. Latham learned many of his first lessons in Thumoslang from it. All are free of charge. When he opens the book, he saw its Table of Contents. The first three parts of the book are three different booklets. Each booklet presents all of its chapters on the same web page.

Thumosdegu is the story that changed his life in a big way, thanks to the formal vocabulary for optimizing life through social clarity based on falsifiable truth. Part 1 of Thumosdegu got him started.
