When was our club formed?

Providence Bitcoin Investment Group (PVDBTC) was formed in late April 2021. Our first meeting was at 7:00 PM on 4/30/2021 (Friday).

Do we meet in person or online?

Our meetings are conducted in person as much as possible. This is especially true for all events whose purpose is to greet and welcome new members to our club.

Are masks required?

So long as masks are required in restaurants, all are expected to wear mask when we first meet one another. Nick got his second Covid-19 vaccine shot on 4/29/2021. Alec will get his second shot on 5/9/2021. Masks can be taken off so long as no objections are raised.

Are our members new to crypto?

As of late April 2021, Nick has a few months of crypto trading experience. Alec has much less. We are crypto newbies but we believe that our future will be greatly influenced by blockchain technology. That’s why we came up with the idea of forming a group of crypto newbies who want to help one another our our crypto journeys.

Can membership fee be paid in cash?

Yes, you can pay membership fee in cash, Venmo, PayPal, etc. Arrangement can be made to fit your preferences.

Do the co-organizers have pictures of themselves?

Yes, the above image is of Nickantony Quach (left) and Alec Mustafayev (right). They are co-organizers of our Meetup groups.

Could we help one another of our crypto issues after the formal meeting?

Yes, we can extend our meeting as long as we find our conversation still useful to all parties.

What should members read ahead of the first meeting?

Recently written by Nickantony Quach and Alec Mustafayev, the 2021 booklet Crypto Trading & Crypto Mining – For Those New to Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology provides basic background to those who are all new to crypto.

Can members contact co-organizers outside of our formal meetings?

Yes, they can. Our investment club is organized by Nickantony Quach, a published philosopher, and Alec Mustafayev, a Classic High graduate of 2020. To contact either of them directly, send a Direct Message to @Ri4CTV on Instagram and ask for either Nick or Alec. Alternatively, send a text message to 401-366-4987, which is our Google Voice number that does not accept phone calls.
